47 years down the drain, wholy smokes.

I am freakin out about simply turning 25, and here my mom is 47 and my dad turns 50 next month. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! What happened to the good ole’ days, you know, when time weeeennnnntttt sssssssslllllllllllooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwww!

One minute, we are stressing about our senior project presentation we have to give, and the next, we are standing in the mirror attempting to count the number of gray hair we have accumulated a few short years later (or maybe thats just me). N-E-ways, my mom doesnt have a computer, even if she did, she wouldnt know how to navigate to this website, but I still love her. So mom, this is for you on your special day.

I have determined that my car is a target.

I bought my niece her birthday present at the Kitsap Mall (booo) on my way home from work on Monday. She opened it to discover that it was broken. I told her not to worry, I would simply exchange it on my way home Tuesday. So I pull into the mall, and what did my eyes see, a front row parking spot (Haaaaaaaaleluhah!). I am thinking “how awesome is that?” Well obviously not that awesome. When I got back to my car, I saw a note on my windshield. I am thinking to myself as a approach “hey now, I know I am not in a handycap spot, I can’t be a ticket.” Nope, it was a note from a witness to the fact that a Ford Expedition backed out of their spot into my rear. Waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

She left the color, model, make, and License Plate number along with her name and number saying that she saw the whole thing and would be witness for me. HOW AWESOME IS THAT! People just don’t do things like that anymore. I couldn’t believe it. I was completely pissed that the dude hit my car and took off, but I was filled with joy by the fact that someone saw it and, oh yea, wrote the stuff down to tell me. I called the number she gave me to thank her, but I got her voicemail. I still left like a ten minute thank you message. Anyway, I got a police report and all that jazz, but it still makes me furious that people like that in general do not get caught.

I challenge everyone to do one random act of kindness today in honor of miss Lea Curtis of Port Orchard, Washington, my hero for doing what was right.

Who is with me?

I just have to share this one with you.  My son and I were doing a puzzle last night.  He picked it out at ToysRUs, one that glows in the dark and all that Jazz.  I had him seperate the edges from the non-edges, and then we was handing me pieces and asking me if they go here and there, totally adorable.  Everytime one fit, he would jump up and down and get all happy “Yea, we got one daddy, we got one piece” This is a 500 piece puzzle, and he never ceased to give shouts and praises for every piece we connected to the puzzle.

This morning when I left for work(5:45am), I went in to give him a hug and tell him that I would miss him, he told me that he really enjoyed doing the puzzle with me last night.

Awe shucks, it just doesnt get any better than that.
